The Role / Responsibilities:

The Analyst - BI&A (Delivery) supports the delivery of complexity Business Intelligence and data solutions, primarily for stakeholder use, and provides support for the Business Intelligence & Analytics team.

Functional Responsibilities

Support team members in assessing the current state of a process that requires a BI solution by mapping the process and identifying data inputs and outputs.

Assist members of the team in documenting business and technical requirements for BI solutions

Collaborate in the creation of data models and visualizations for complex BI solutions, with minimal direction of senior members of the team

Review existing BI solutions to incorporate standard methodologies to optimize their performance, with supervision of senior members of the team

Translate business requirements into BI solutions, for discussion with members of the team

Understand bugs in BI solutions to suggest possible solutions on how to fix them

Maintain data models and dashboards that support key business decisions

Qualifications:

• 1 - 3 years of experience in extracting, redefining, loading, and visualizing data
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or other quantitative/technology field
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
• Confirmed experience using visualization tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Shiny), Power BI is preferred
• Confirmed experience in scripting languages (e.g. R, Python) is a plus
• Shown experience working with multidimensional databases (e.g. SQL, Hyperion) is a plus
• Good analytical skills, problem-solving and creative skills
• Interpersonal skills: be proactive, determined with strong collaboration skills, promote a diverse and inclusive work environment; be open and welcoming to change; be a creative and strategic problem solver; have the ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritize and meet tight deadlines

Finance Mission: To provide data-driven financial insight to support the execution of superior, real-time operating and strategic decisions with timely and reliable financial reporting.

The Finance Transformation, Data and Systems team enables the Finance department access of data, technology and analytic / BI solutions. We accelerate Finance Transformation by enabling a data-driven and digital culture.
