Job Title: Associate Director Manager - Software Engineer

Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007 (Principal place of business - telecommuting permitted)

Duties: Participate in design sessions to understand business needs, functional and non-functional requirements and apply appropriate patterns and practices. Provide guidance to solution development and operations teams in applying leading and emerging data technologies. Provide solutions in supported functional area by safeguarding data model consistency, data flows process structure, and data integrity. Design, develop, test, and deliver a maintainable, scalable data platform in Snowflake. Implement Snowflake’s best practices for loading and transforming data. Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to refine pipeline requirements and design data models to support business objectives. Help establish and follow a DataOps culture within the team. Work closely in an agile team setting to deliver high-quality systems and value to our clients. Manage consultants on a daily basis for Agile delivery. Design and manage the development operations of Microservice based architecture using AWS services. Establish best practices and work closely with onsite and offshore team members. Manage the team and deliverables of Data and reporting team. Mange QA operations to Define and implement testing strategies. Provide subject matter expertise with ability to confidently resolve complex issues without escalation. Review requirements and advice product owners on potential impacts and system considerations. Perform incident resolution and root cause analysis of critical outages. Telecommuting permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.)

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Consultant or in a related IT position. Must have experience with the following: performing software development and designing technical solutions; providing technical support, including troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving defects in production, UAT, and stage environments; applying knowledge of multithreading concepts, design patterns, and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment; working with Linux, Windows, Jira, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, Glue, Snowflake, Power Bi, Kubernetes, Docker, Fargate, Aurora, SQL, Python, and automated testing tools, including Junit and Jacoco; and using build tools and version control systems, including Maven, GIT, and Subversion. Telecommuting permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.)

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $169,229 - $221,950, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
