The Assistant Director, Content Marketing Strategist will support the Compliance & third-party risk global marketing team in creating compelling content that addresses the needs of senior risk and compliance professionals at different stages of their buyer’s journey. That could include blogs, white papers, website copy, videos, bylined articles, customer stories, email copy, presentations etc.

The Content Marketing Strategist will partner in particular with the Financial Crime Industry Practice Leads in the Americas to produce thought leadership pieces that resonate with a variety of industry sectors (banking, insurance, asset management, corporates, professional serves and government/public sector).

The right candidate for this role is an exceptional writer and editor who brings creative vision, strong project management, and a results-driven mindset to the table. It requires passion for purposeful storytelling through partnership with different stakeholders across the organization, including various sales, central marketing, corporate comms, regional PR, product and customer success teams.

Responsibilities

* Partner closely with other members of Moody’s Compliance & third-party risk management business to create customer-focused cohesive stories in various formats to drive brand awareness, leads, web traffic and business growth

* Research topics, needs and attitudes of our target audience in order to generate ideas and content to engage and inform target personas across multiple sectors

* Collaborate with Financial Crime Industry Practice Leads who are US-based to write blogs and produce white papers that resonate with a US audience

* Increase our library of customer stories

* Liaise with the Moody’s branding team to turn copy into branded content

* Support the marketing team in creating the content required for full funnel marketing campaigns

* Support the regional PR lead for the Americas in supplying stories/comments that generate media coverage for the business

Qualifications

  • BA in journalism, English, communications, marketing or related field

  • Experience working for a B2B SaaS-based marketing company, technology or risk & compliance background is a plus.

  • 7-10 years of proven content marketing experience, specifically executing a program to build awareness and deliver qualified leads

  • Strong work ethic with exceptional project management skills and ability to track progress and milestones

  • A writing portfolio demonstrating experience in creating compelling copy that tells a story

  • Ability to work hand in hand with senior leadership to develop communications

  • Ability to collaborate across OU, sales, product, and central marketing functions.

  • Customer centric orientation with deep attention to detail

  • Excellent copyediting, communication & project management skills with the ability to present these skills and defend writing decisions along the way

  • A willingness to embrace and experiment with AI to accelerate relevance, productivity and creativity

  • Expert skill in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $67,800.00 -  $98,400.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
