Title: Asst Dir-QA Engineer

Location: 1010 N 102nd Street, Omaha, NE 68114, USA

Duties: Design, write, and execute manual and automated tests. Investigate defects, isolate their probable causes, and provide reliable methods of reproducing them. Assist in implementation of test automation frameworks. Assist with clarification of functional and non-functional requirements. Use bug tracking systems to submit, track, and manage defects. Analyze test results at story or feature level and provide meaningful reports to appropriate project teams. Maintain software testing artefacts and use queries to create test data and analyze results. Help to ensure coverage for each software release and suggest process and execution improvements for QA phases of the SDLC (systems development life cycle). In performing duties, work within constructs of an Agile process, including SCRUM, Continuous Build and Integration, among other Agile frameworks. Mentor less experienced team members, take on multiple projects concurrently, and serve as lead QA on certain projects. Develop and maintain automation test packs utilizing Protractor and/or Selenium / Microsoft C#/.NET and other technologies. Apply deep understanding of BDD process and create automation in early stages. Implement test automation code as per established best practices.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field plus two (2) years of experience as a QA Engineer, Test Engineer, or in a related position performing manual or automated test engineering. Must have experience with following: performing requirements analysis, test planning, strategy and execution, defect tracking, UI quality assurance testing, and release support; applying knowledge of financial risk analytics to develop edge and negative test scenarios; utilizing agile processes, including SCRUM, and Continuous Build and Integration; working with QA methodologies, including test plan management using Rally, publishing test reports, and maintaining QA metrics; using Jenkins for deployment and working with web-based technology architecture and data structures; applying knowledge of programming languages in either C# or Java; using Specflow or Cucumber behavior driven development tools and REST or SOAP web service testing; and working with Selenium or Protractor opensource automation tools.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $73,320 - $162,550, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
