We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in Data Integration to join our team. In this role, your primary focus will be on developing robust APIs and crafting plugins that seamlessly connect a myriad of applications within our ecosystem. You'll play a pivotal role in automating and enhancing our data workflows, ensuring our infrastructure is not only efficient but also scalable and secure. Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers, you'll deliver solutions that are pivotal to our data-driven decision-making processes and overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

• API Development and Management: Design, develop, and manage RESTful APIs to enable seamless data exchange between different systems and applications. Ensure the APIs are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
• Plugin Development and Integration: Develop custom plugins and connectors to integrate diverse applications, databases, and data sources. Work closely with external vendors and open-source communities to leverage existing solutions and ensure compatibility and performance.
• Workflow Automation through Software Solutions: Architect and implement software solutions that automate data workflows, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of data processing and analysis tasks.
• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with data analysts, and software developers to understand their data access and processing needs. Provide technical expertise to enable the development of data-driven applications and services.
• Continuous Improvement of Data Infrastructure: Evaluate and improve the existing data infrastructure through the development of new APIs, plugins, and software solutions. Focus on scalability, performance optimization, and reducing system complexity.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on API development and system integration.
• Proficient in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala, and familiar with API development standards (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
• Experience with developing plugins or connectors for integrating various applications and data sources.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
