Workflow engineer is a subject matter expert and will work with business stakeholders to implement, create, and continuously improve process and integration with other internal business applications. He or She will develop and maintain automation workflows in Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and other Atlassian products including tool administration and customization. The Workflow Engineer is a crucial role in any organization seeking to streamline its processes and increase efficiency. By designing and implementing effective workflows, the Workflow Engineer can significantly enhance the organization's productivity and overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop JIRA templates, complex JIRA workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission scheme and notification schemes in JIRA
• Creation of JIRA APIs and webhooks
• Provide recommendations to various lines of business on best practices and standardization in implementing and leveraging processes within the Atlassian Suite
• Research and provide recommendations on Atlassian products, plug-ins, and roadmap features for future enhancements to support business objectives
• Create and design complex Jira workflows including project workflows, security schemes, screen schemes, Jira vocabulary, and permission and notification schemes
• Maintain a governance plan for JIRA and Confluence
• Create and configure metrics, dashboards, reports, and advanced filters in JIRA to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports
• Facilitating plugin research, procurement, testing and implementation
• Support the rollout and onboarding of new teams to Jira Service Management
  

Skills

• Experience with configuration and administration of Atlassian Products such as Jira service management, Jira Software, Confluence, and key 3rd-party add-ons
• Experience in administering, customizing Jira projects, building complex workflows and API’s/webhooks integrated with JIRA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
